A man whose heart has been fated to care and share the love for his brothers and sisters with special educational needs. He felt it right from the start, and he was convinced that it was indeed a calling. This man is a teacher of learners with special educational needs for more than a decade now at Agusan del Sur Philippines He is an epitome of a “kind heart” which make him loved by the people around him and a “brilliant mind” in handling learners with special educational needs with different exceptionalities solely handled by him and makes him as an exceptional man. He finished Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biology at Agusan Del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology as full scholar of the late Senator Tessie Aquino Oreta. With his unwavering passion to pursue his desire to teach children with special needs he decided to enroll in special education at University of Southeastern Philippines, Obrero, Davao City and enjoying the privilege of being a scholar sponsored by the Department of Education under the Institution- Based Training Program on Special Education. Over the years, he has attended several seminars and trainings regarding Special Education. His commitment and dedication radiates not only to his friends but most especially to his learners with special needs or LSEN’s. His advocacy to SPED Program is intertwined by his passion and compassion to cater Students complexities and exceptionalities at all cost. He participated to the varied significant programs hoping to touch the lives of the learners with Special Educational Needs to become fully participating members in the society giving equal emphasis to the development of the child as a whole being with the same dignity, happiness and care he afforded to the regular students. He consistently serves as facilitator, Division Trainer, and Resource Speaker during Divisional Workshops, Conferences and Trainings of Special Education gaining an Outstanding Rating from the participants. As Special education teacher, it is his candid desire to uplift the welfare and educational advancement of those who are considered weal minded and body, mentally and physically handicapped and emotionally unstable. It is for this purpose that he opted to teach learners with educational needs over learners who are mentally gifted. His faith in God, perseverance, and passion inspires many.
