Working in financial services for much of my career has drilled in me the importance of being client centric, looking at things from the perspective across the desk. This has stood me well in the different roles I’ve taken through out my career from sales and marketing where you need to connect with prospects to turn them into clients. As an online educator where building a community is paramount. To being a manager where command responsibility has meant dealing with irate clients when problems are escalated. A go to person wherever I work, I enjoy the process of finding solutions to problems and getting things done. This could mean putting in some extra time to finish a job or being asked to take on roles that are new or unfilled which has given me exposure to such areas as operations, risk management, and technology. The latter has meant working with third parties for integrating CRMs to trading platforms, on boarding B2B clients, and a bit of MQL4 programming for be spoke solutions to client demands.
