Virtual Medical Assistant
I have worked as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant/ Medical Assistant for a US client for more than a year. My daily task include, taking phone calls/outbound calls through 8x8, appointment setting, insurance verification, prior authorization, claims follow-up, email management, fax management, and payment collection (via Square/EHR). I have experience with some EHRs including Athena, AdvancedMD, and Jane. Prior to that, I worked in the BPO industry for almost five years and have broad skills in handling customer issues via phone, email, chat, and text.
